Combat Tips
🎯 Aim for the Head
Headshots deal 2x damage and can instant-kill most zombies. Practice precision in early chapters.
🔫 Manage Ammo
Ammo is scarce. Use knives for single zombies, save guns for groups or bosses.
🏃 Know When to Run
Not every fight is necessary. Running past enemies saves ammo and time.
💣 Use Grenades Wisely
Save explosives for emergencies or boss fights. Flash grenades are invaluable against tough enemies.
Survival Tips
❤️ Healing Priority
Green Herb + Red Herb combo is best. Only heal when below 50% health to maximize item efficiency.
🎒 Inventory Management
Split items between characters if playing co-op. Each can carry 12 slots. Prioritize heals and ammo.
📍 Typewriter Saves
Save often at typewriters. They also fully restore health. Bring typewriter ribbons from merchant.
🛒 The Merchant
Sell gems and treasures for cash. Prioritize buying weapon upgrades and healing items.
Stealth Tips (Grace)
- • Crouch to move silently - Hold the crouch button to reduce noise
- • Avoid lights - Enemies spot you faster in lit areas
- • Use environmental distractions - Throw items to lure enemies
- • Headshots from stealth - One-shot kills on most enemies
- • Flash Grenades are clutch - Buy several for emergency escapes
Leon-Specific Tips
- • Parry when possible - Leon's counter-attack deals massive damage
- • Use movement cancels - Cancel reload animations with melee
- • Partner up with Grace - Some doors require both characters
- • Shotguns are life - Upclose power is Leon's specialty

Standard
Balanced experience, recommended for first playthrough.
Hardcore
No HUD, limited saves, enemies are smarter. For veterans only.
